| See, it's the achievements that makes all the difference. Honestly, even if life was like a video game, with bloodthirsty zombies roaming the land, monsters to battle, and crazy adventures to be had....people would still want a fantasy escape. Be it video games, books, or movies. The "grass is always greener" if you will. In the world of modern video gaming, I have been surprised to learn how more and more importance seems to be placed on achievements. It is kinda odd. I guess the idea is akin to wearing metals. Not that long ago ERIC called to tell me he had while playing his FABLE 2 character as much like himself as he could manage, had to his surprise unlocked the GOTH ACHIEVEMENT on the 360. What that says about ERIC, I'll let you decide. He did however once upon a time manage a Hot Topic. Accurate achievement or insulting jab? The jury is still out on that one. I've been very excited about the start of the new year, but not as focused as I would like. I think some of that has carried over into the world of TRNRPOL. I have made an attempt to corral myself back in and focus. Hopefully in the coming weeks you'll see a lot of evidence of my new found fire. Especially with new artwork. I mean...come on...it's 2009.
