I suppose part of what makes this funny is knowing that I never turn down a chance to see a movie. I love movies. Movies and books are the only things that calms my mind down...that and sleep. Sleep is hard to come by for me sometimes. Movies and books make me just pay attention to the story they are telling. Well as long as it's a good story of course.

Hope your holiday season is going well. Mine was....well mine was! Any holiday season you can walk away from with a minimum of emotional scarring is a good one right?

In the end I stand by what I wrote in the Forum. The main point of this season is to get together with the ones you love during a hard time (traditionally this meant winter, today I think it means this current economic climate). So hopefully even the most jaded of you found the time to do that.

So here we are at the end of another year. It's hard to believe that 2009 is over. A lot happened this year, and although I have to say this last year was pretty rough on me, it had it's nicer moments.

I'm single now, and that's kinda weird, but probably for the best. I'm back on the West Coast, which right or wrong, is my home. I finally launched The Dinosaur Factory and that alone is a huge deal for me. I find myself standing on a crossroads where I am able to reinvent myself and my life. It's a bit frightening but extremely exciting. I'm interested in seeing what 2010 will bring.

Here's to the new year! Next week however? "INTERVENTION!"
