| I hate this song. I hate it sooooo much. It's awful. You know it. I know it. I keep hearing that people love it. Me? I feel like I'm on crazy pills. I love California. I love girls. I especially have a soft spot for California girls. I've traditionally been a fan of songs about California Girls. However the lyrics...combined with the video...makes this stupid song almost insulting to my ears. The video is sexual Candyland. There is a dance number with cup cake bras with cherry nipples and there appears to be one scene that shows Katy Perry shooting frosting out a bra. Suggestive no? Look...I'm a boy. I like sexy stuff. I do! A girl wearing daisy dukes with a bikini on top? Sign me up. However...stupid...is stupid. THIS is her answer to the glove Lady GaGa threw down? Ugh. Garbage. I never was a particular Katy Perry fan...but I hate this song. However I'm drawing a comic about it and she's making money off a stupid song. Which one of us is smarter?
